This project is located in the ecuadorian amazonic region; as a plan to support the community, the adequacy of the hostel spaces was designed along with UDLA (Universidad de las Ameriicas). The idea was to use the existing environments and make them more adecuate and confortable to function as an accommodation stablishment, The proposal consisted on using local materials, in this way the costs get lower and the community gets involved in the process, the hostel is one of their most important income sources.

Undesrtanding the relationship between the building and the entourage is vital to understand the purpose of every space and its relation with the user, and at the same time to achieve armony with nature instead of invading it. In this project is very important to think about how humas relate with nature, and how architecture can serve as a connection if some elements are treated correctly. The creation of simple and modest spaces stimulates this connection and creates a experience for the guests, focusing on the hole environment that surrounds them.

Este proyecto se localiza en el oriente ecuatoriano, como parte de un plan de apoyo a la comunidad se realizó los planes para la readeuación de los espacios con la Universidad de las Américas. Se pretendía adecuar los espacios existentes para lograr ambientes más confortantes y adecuados para el funcionamiento de un establecimiento de alojamiento. Se propuso la utilización de materiales locales con el fin de abaratar los costos e involucrar a la comunidad, pues la hostería es una de sus fuentes de ingreso más importantes.

Entender la relación de la edificación con el entorno es vital para entender el propósito de cada espacio y su relación con el usuario, además para lograr armonía con el ambiente natural en vez de invadirlo. En este espacio es importante la conección de las personas con la naturaleza, en casos utilizando elementos arquitectónicos como puente o plataforma para lograrlo. La creación de ambientes simples y modestos es un lenguaje que permite esta comunicación y crea una experiencia para el usuario.
